Pe parcursul a trei zile ne-am bucurat de implicarea a 85 de copii minunați într-o activitate distractivă și provocatoare de tip escape-room, organizată în cadrul a cinci școli participante: Școala Gimnazială nr 8, Liceul Teologic Ortodox, Școala Gimnazială Roznov, Școala Gimnazială Slobozia, Școala Gimnazială Balușești/ Icușești.
Escape-room este un joc de grup care pe de o parte stimulează inteligența, comunicarea și spiritul de echipă în interiorul grupului, pune în valoare personalitatea și competențele individuale dar, în același timp, promovează și calitățile grupului ca întreg. Un grup de persoane, în general în număr de 2 până la 6, sunt încuiate într-o cameră și trebuie să găsească indicii, să rezolve puzzle-uri și să descopere mesaje secrete care într-un final îi vor conduce către scopul jocului, descoperirea căii de ieșire din cameră. Indiciile și mesajele au o logică bine pusă la punct și sunt “împachetate” într-o poveste pe care participantul o descoperă pe parcursul jocului. Jucătorii trebuie să își folosească o serie de abilități pentru a evada din cameră, să comunice între ei, să își împartă activitățile, să își aleagă un leader și să își dea frâu liber imaginației. Munca în echipă, buna comunicare, ingeniozitatea, creativitatea, logica și atenția la detalii sunt foarte importante în reușita acestui joc.
Ca organizatori ai activității de tutorat, am fost impresionați de implicarea elevilor în acest proiect . Fiind într-un cadru relaxat de joc, curiozitatea copiilor si brainstorming-ul de idei au fost promotori în susținerea motivației și a bunei dispoziții pe tot parcursul activității, spiritul de echipă în majoritatea grupurilor fiind admirabil (felicitări copiilor de la Icușești, care au aplaudat echipa câstigătoare cu care au concurat!). Rezolvarea fiecărei misiuni din cadrul jocului i-a condus pe copii către misiunea următoare, cu nivel mai ridicat de complexitate dar și cu noi resurse (ca și în viața de zi cu zi), integrarea fiecărui membru din echipă fiind importantă, deoarece numai împreună au putut reuși să ajungă la finalul jocului. Comunicarea, creativitatea și gândirea “out of the box” au fost conștientizate și valorificate, discuțiile generale și individuale, curiozitatea copiilor le-au dezvăluit acestora o nouă experiență.
